Staff

Mandy Luchs, Library Director

Mandy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Penn State University and a Master of Library Science Degree from Clarion University. Prior to coming to Sewickley Township, Mandy worked as the Library Director at the Johnsonburg Public Library in Elk County for two years. She lives with her husband Ryan, daughter Madeline and son Benjamin in Harrison City, where she grew up.

She says, “I have really enjoyed my time here at Sewickley Twp. It has been so much fun helping the Library to grow and expand its programs and services. I am particularly proud of the incredible growth of our children’s programs, especially the Summer Reading Program. People often ask my why I don’t work at a larger library, but I truly feel that working at a small library is what I’m meant to do.”

Jennifer Worley, Children’s Librarian

Jennifer’s college studies included Animal Science and Creative Writing in the field of Children’s Literature.  She is a free-lance writer with her most recent publishing credits in Reunions Magazine and as a co-writer for a healthy-cooking blog.  She has enjoyed the challenges and rewards of home educating her children and has instilled in them a love of books.  Jennifer grew up in Sewickley Township and was a story hour volunteer at the library in High School. She now resides in South Huntingdon Township with her husband, Dan, and daughters Emma and Katelyn.

Jennifer is delighted to be able to once again contribute to the community through the library. She loves working with children and hopes to inspire a new generation of readers.
