DESCRIPTION:Narcan & Overdose Harm Reduction Training\nwith Westmoreland County Department of Human Services\nTuesday\, April 9\, 2024\, 6:30PM\nThis Harm Reduction Training is aimed at informing community members about the current overdose trends in Westmoreland County as well as training individuals how to use Narcan. We also will provide additional resources\, answer questions\, and discuss other harm reduction initiatives.\nThe Department of Community Relations and Prevention (DCRP) is committed to improving the quality of life for all residents of the county by providing essential human services. Our programs and services are designed to promote prevention\, community education\, and outreach\, as well as addressing issues such as opioid prevention\, communicable disease prevention\, homelessness prevention and assistance\, and more.\nThere is no cost for this program\, but registration is requested for planning purposes.
