Computers and Internet
The Library currently has 5 computers open to the public. These computers have high-speed cable Internet connection as well as word processing and other capabilities. We also have a scanner available for public use. Pages may be printed at a cost of $0.20 for black and white and $0.50 for color.

Computer Classes
Some instruction is available from library staff if time permits. However, for more in-depth instruction, patrons are encouraged to sign-up for our ongoing computer classes. These classes have included Intro to Computers, Microsoft Office, Digital Photography, Internet & Email and more. Classes should begin again soon. If you know that our Library doesn’t own the particular item you are looking for, you may search the catalog of other Westmoreland County Libraries by going to our homepage at www.sewickleytownshippubliclibrary.org. Click on the Online Catalog link. Holds may be placed online by clicking on Patron Account and entering the barcode number of your library card and a password. The password defaults to the last 4 digits of your phone number. This can be changed once you access your account. You may also renew items online. If you experience any problems while using the online system, please call the library for assistance.Additionally, you may search the catalogs of hundreds of libraries throughout Pennsylvania by going to www.accesspa.state.pa.us
Any item located in these databases can be ordered via Interlibrary Loan and it will be shipped to our Library for you to check out. Items borrowed within the county usually only take a few days to arrive.

Memorial and Honor Books
Are you looking for a special way to memorialize a dear friend or relative or honor an anniversary, birthday, graduation or retirement? A contribution of $20.00 or more to our Library will purchase a book in the name of this special person. With each gift, an acknowledgement card is sent to the family and a book plate is placed in each book. This is a great way to support the Library while honoring those special people in your life.
