The mission of the Library is to encourage and support lifelong learning through reading, educational, civic, cultural, recreational and public service information and programs to the residents of the Township, as well as to all residents of Westmoreland County, as part of the Westmoreland County Federated Library System.

The Library serves the 6230 residents of Sewickley Township as well as all residents of Westmoreland County.
