Sewickley Township Public Library

Library Card

  • How do I get a Library Card?
  • Library cards are free to all residents of Sewickley Township and Westmoreland County. Library cards can be obtained by providing one form of ID with a current address, preferably a Driver’s License. The signature of a parent or guardian is required for those under 16.
  • The Library participates in the Westmoreland Library Network, a resource-sharing consortium of twenty-three libraries throughout the county. Patrons can access their accounts online through this website, place holds, renew items, and see what is available through other libraries in the county. The Library also participates in the Access Pennsylvania Statewide Card Program. This means that your Sewickley Township Public Library card can be used to check out materials at any library in Pennsylvania that participates in this program. Most libraries do participate.
  • The replacement fee for a lost card is $1.00.
  • If your card is lost or stolen, or if your address or phone number changes, please let us know as soon as possible.
